Day 5 - London

Leaving Bath, we headed to England's capital city, London. We took up residence in the Royal National Hotel, spread out on the 4th floor. The first night out, we all split up for dinner, and tried to get our bearings. Awakening on Thursday, we left in the morning for the Tower of London. We spent 2 hours looking around, then moved on to Trafalgar square. Since the tour company had bungled much of our advertising, they attempted to make up for the slight audiences with a special performance opportunity in St. Martin-in-the-fields, possibly our most well known concert venue on tour. After rehearsing, we broke out for lunch. Dave and I went out touring, rather than sitting down for lunch. Going past St. James park, we visited Buckingham Palace, taking a few pictures of the monuments, buildings and palace guards. Running back fora very quick lunch, we rejoined the group, and dropped some people off halfway to the hotel. Next, we continued to Windsor Castle, the Queen's main place residence. We took a nice long tour, but we weren't allowed to take many pictures inside so you'll just have to go their yourself.
