In March, 2003, The Duke Chorale toured England and Wales over Spring Break. We visited the cities of Cardiff, Salisbury, Bath, and London, performing in a several churches and other venues. This collection documents our tour with this bevy of pictures and movies, taken over the duration of our week-long tour. The DUKE UNIVERSITY CHORALE, conducted by Rodney Wynkoop and accompanied by Glenn Mehrbach, is the primary choral group of the Department of Music at Duke. Composed of 55 voices--mostly undergraduate Duke students--the Chorale and its 22-voice Chamber Choir perform numerous concerts throughout the year, both on and off campus.  The group has toured mainland China, England and Wales, Italy, Austria and Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic, plus many parts of the United States.  They have produced several CD recordings and cassettes.  In recent years the Chorale has performed with orchestra such major works as the Brahms and Verdi Requiems, Bach's Mass in B Minor, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, and Duke Ellington's Sacred Concert.  Their repertoire also encompasses shorter choral works, ranging from Renaissance motets to 19th-century part-songs, from Bach motets to spirituals.
